Opening Day for 2010 will be this Saturday, July 31st

Despite not yet at peak ripeness for all of our field, we are confident that there are enough bushes where most of the berries are ripe and can sustain public picking. For the most part, everything is going to be the same as last year: cost is still $2/lb, please bring your own containers (ice-cream pails are ideal), remember to drive very slow on the roads and keep an eye out for kids, come any time during daylight. After this weekend, check back here before coming to make sure we have ripe berries available for picking (or call the answering machine (523-6112) for a report), and remember that blueberry bushes attract stinging insects and other bugs and it can get very hot out in the fields.
