Getting closer, still not ready

Field check on Saturday, Aug. 1st: fewer than 20% of the berries are ripe. No single bush is ripe yet, many are not ripe at all. Decent quantity it seems, should have at least a couple of weeks of picking, once ripe. The EARLIEST we MIGHT open is Saturday, Aug. 8th, but may be later if the berries don't hustle their ripening. Still could use some rain, eh.

Hi Lynn, John, Genny & Mike: Anxiously waiting for your wonderful blueberries to ripen. Will check with you on Friday, 8-7 to see if there is a possibility that you will open on Sat. Two weeks ago I went to Duluth to visit my Great Aunt (my grandmother's sister) as she was celebrating her 102nd birthday. I still had two bags of blueberries from '08 with 8 cups in each bag so I brought her a bag. She was so thrilled to get Chassell blueberries and called me yesterday to say how much she was enjoying them. Hope we get some much needed rain. We sure love your blueberries.
