Done Picked Out

Similar to how difficult it is to estimate the abundance of the crop, we really have have no way of knowing the amounts people will harvest.  This year, it seems, commensurate with the abundance of the blueberries has been a growth in the number of "problem pickers" who can't seem to pick enough, and you know who you are (we certainly do).  Here are some time-lapse, trail-cam pictures of probably our most frequent picker, Violet Beauregarde.  I checked the patch tonight (Wednesday, Sept. 12th) and saw practically nothing, only the marks of one large round picker being rolled off the property.  You are still welcome to come out tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 13th, which is our absolute last and final day for 2012, but  you won't find much.  I do not think that Violet will be coming.   We remain grateful for your participation in this year's harvest, especially those of you who have a "problem" and can't stop picking.  We hope to see you next year.
